• Assist the Country Representative and the Senior Finance and Administrative Manager of IFPRI-Bangladesh in day-to-day administrative matters.
  • Assist in organizing special events, including meetings and conferences and training events. This function will include venue reservation, distribution of invitations and follow up, printing briefs and other materials, food catering and other functions, as needed.
  • Prepare graphs and tables, and edit and format reports, journal articles, discussion papers, manuscripts, proposals, questionnaires, and other documents as needed per IFPRI guidelines.
  • Make travel arrangements for senior IFPRI researchers and, if appropriate, project collaborators. Make hotel reservations for visitors, assist in coordinating visa applications, request for itineraries, issuance of air and/or train tickets etc.
  • Receive and transfer telephone calls and receive visitors at the reception desk.
  • Procure office supplies and maintain stock inventory for the office.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
