  • To check & ensure the PP meeting held.
  • To check the next style critical operation & ensure special attachment.
  • Ensure the new style quality standard fix with quality team.
  • To reduce unnecessary worker & operation.
  • Ensure change over (Layout) with in short time.
  • Follow up properly utilization of man, machine & material.
  • Develop method and change pattern (if require) to ensure optimum quality and production through cross check with concern section.
  • Need to maintain 100% operation chart through SLD (standard labor details) for all style.
  • Material, accessories wastage control and ensure garments produced meet "FIT" criteria.
  • Training and development existing team as well as new employees of the team.
  • Any other technical assignment given by the Management.
  • Directly managing the QC team on day to day function.
  • Review staff attendance and make necessary arrangement.
  • Update QC team on any special requirement of buyer.
  • Collect all QC reports and make a summary and discuss major issues with QC Manager for immediate action.
  • Arrange meeting with QC & Technical team to discuss if any critical issue arises that needs to resolve.
  • Monitor daily performance and discipline of the QC team.
  • Ensure quality system and procedure followed and maintain continuously.
  • Assure the right first time implemented.
  • Ensure buyer's findings/comments are taken action immediately with the relevant team.
  • Randomly check output of new styles to ensure consistency of quality standard at end table QC checkpoints.
  • Responsible to summarize the reports and discuss action plan for implementation and continuous follow up with QC manager.
  • Monitoring the Top 3 Defect report for action plan.
  • Follow up the implementation of quality goals and targets set by QC Manager.
  • Participate to attend PP meeting on special cases for specific customers.
  • Organize and collect all customer requested sample and ensure quality standard adhere to requirement.
  • Conduct the Annual Performance Appraisal.
  • Review the Manpower allocation and budget.
  • To act as backup role on behalf of QC Manager functions.
  • Follow up and monitor on the job training program for all QC personnel.
  • Evaluate and asses the job knowledge of QC staff to identify skill level.
  • Qualifications

  • Graduate/ Masters in any discipline
