Responsibility

  • Responsible to sourcing & procurement of Machinery, materials, spare parts & Supply Chain Management,
  • Responsible to preparing monthly plan & budget required for procurement.
  • Responsible to sourcing of potential suppliers on regular basis, evaluating suppliers' qualification & proposals through comparative study and preparation of purchase orders.
  • Responsible to collecting quality report on various raw materials, spares & machinery performance and communicating with suppliers for any quality deviation.
  • Responsible to expediting all critically required materials by contacting the supplier, commercial department and other related persons.
  • Responsible to coordination with Sales team, Service team & Suppliers.
  • Responsible to coordination with Engineer & store for routine material requirements and ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
  • Responsible to follow up with open LC/ purchase orders issued and accelerate until each purchase order is closed in consultation with workshop, station, commercial department and others related person.
  • Responsible to follow-up with suppliers on invoice disputes, short or excess supply, damaged or returned materials.
  • Responsible to controlling the documents and ensuring all documentations as per standard.
  • Responsible to data collection and verification on machinery and equipment’s' output performance.
  • Responsible to verification of sales contracts and taking actions on disputes in consultation with Management.
  • Responsible to supervise and lead the purchase and procurement team.
  • Responsible to maintain and development of the departmental policy and SOP. Take corrective action for any deviation.
  • Responsible to analysis and take corrective measure for the inventory items.
  • Responsible to co-ordinate with stations& workshops and third parties (certification authorities) for product quality certification issues.
  • Responsible to keeping stock control systems up to date and ensuring inventory accuracy.
  • Qualifications

  • Master of Commerce (MCom) in Management, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management
  • PGD in Supply Chain Management or any relevant professional degree will get advantage.
  • Skills Required: Reporting and Documentation, Excellent communication skill, Local Purchase, Negotiation
