Development of new design from idea generation to final product.
Conceptualize, create and help to execute season wise.
Understand the different fabric qualities / pattern making / fits / measurements/ technical aspects of garment construction.
Knowledgeable to understand and design the seasonal embroidery, print and other seasonal embellishment inspiration.
Ability to understand the seasonal color trend and material trend.
Should have wide knowledge about global fashion trends.
Ensure the timely and successful design and development of products in line with the customers' requirements.
Researching latest fashion directions & trends in the market and competitor activities
Coordinate with key personnel involved in production of knit, drawing and cutting patterns and constructing samples for finished garments
Assembling seasonal forecasts and creating designs to feed the demand
Identify target markets for designs, looking at factors such as age, gender and socioeconomic status
Review fashion magazines and manuals in order to gather information about fashion trends.
Able to work in illustrator or any other fashion design software to develop sketches for ladies, men's, kids garments, embroideries, prints and accessory details
Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fashion designing (Shanto Marium & BUFT Student will get preference).
